re: What’s your favorite shave/aftershave go to?

I wet shave. Badger brush that I've had forever; don't remember the name, but it's really well made and works up a great lather. I use a Merkur long-handled safety razor with Feather blades.

I like to try different shave soap every time I run out. I currently have Barrister & Mann (Bay Rum) and Pre de Provence (Bergamot & Thyme). Before these, I was using Chiseled Face (Summer Storm). I enjoy all of those. The bay rum (and corresponding aftershave) is awesome for a summer weekend; not formal enough for the office.

For aftershave, I have several: Bleu de Chanel, Reuzel, Barrister & Mann bay rum, Pinaud Clubman, Old Spice, off the top of my head. I normally use the Clubman and the Reuzel. If you've never tried Reuzel, I highly recommend it. It smells like Johnson's baby shampoo. Reuzel Aftershave

I also wet shave with a safety razor.

For Christmas a few years back my father in law gave me a Gilette Super Speed razor made the year I was born (1967).

I use Feather blades with it.

He also gave me a bunch of different soaps.

This has been my favorite
