Is this a spin-off of the Helen Keller thread?

Don't really have a favorite, I like pinball but I'm not what you would call a pinbaw.

The one at Fluer de Lis Pizza.
Me, my sister and 6 cousins put hundreds of dollars of quarters in that thing over my childhood. My uncles played flag football and softball at Independance Park in the 80's and early 90's and the whole family and team would pile in there after a game.
Good times.

Gorgar is by far my favorite. Not even close...

ETA...jumped to post on topic before even looking to see that Gorgar was already mentioned on page 2. Still...it is good enough to repeat.

This!!!

We had it at the rec center we hung out as kids and I later worked at during the summer. It had the half loop you could shoot the ball through several times to get a free ball. We figured out how to shoot just right to get the ball balanced at the top of the loop. From there you food just repeatedly tap the side of the machine to activate the sensor and get free ball after free ball. We would do this when we got there and play free the rest of the day. I have found it listed online for sale and debated buying it for years.

Apparently some people don’t know the difference between pinball and arcade.

Space Invaders was an arcade game AND a pinball machine. Look a couple of posts up.

I know this is probably a question for the older gang on this forum, but I grew up in that era, and pinball was a great way to waste a day at the arcade.

I'm a gen Xer. We had pinball and video games in arcades in the 80s.

Atari 2600 Pinball was one of my favorite games of all time.

Yikes.

The pinball industry didn't roll over and die when video games came out. Pinball machines got more sophisticated and high tech. In my day 1983-1988, video games and pinball machines stood side by side in arcades. Was a pretty cool time.
