Granted, I was very young the last time I attempted to play one, but I could never figure out what the frick I was supposed to do. They each seemed to have a scoring system, and sometimes even a plot, that I fundamentally didn’t understand

I own three pinball machines.
Black Knight
High Speed
Taxi
They’ve all gone up pretty significantly in value since I bought them.
Some of my favorites are fun house, Indiana Jones and Twilight Zone.

Bicentennial pinball machine at Papa Pizza in 1976, we would play for hours on one quarter, then leave 15 games on it for some other lucky kid.

Idk but that deaf, dumb and blind kid was good at it.

Use to play one at the pool hall that had a metal circle in the middle. If you got the play ball in the right hole, the metal circle would shoot out a ball and the ball would go around in it - we got where we could essentially make the circling ball stop in the top dollar hole everytime. Lots of fun. Wish I could find one of those now.

Consider me jealous. Definitely a favorite.
Funhouse was mentioned, too. Played the hell out of that in the Student Union in college ~32 years ago.
Y'all remember Hercules, the huge machine that had a billiard ball instead of the silver ball? Always a line to play that at the mall.

place that served all kinds of ice creams and the greasiest burgers you ever ate.
that joint was disgusting, but the food and ice cream were always on point.

Whichever one they had at Fleur-de-Lis.
I wore that thing out in the late 90s.

I wish I could remember the name of the machine at the Covington Country Club cabana back in the 70s. I can see it in my head i just can’t identify it
we had that thing pegged...knew just the right amount of hip check you could give it without tilting and exactly where and when to send the ball up the ramp. When you got special to light up you could rack up dozens of games in a flash
good times
