NYC really should be its own state. Resembles almost nothing to the rest of NYS. Having spent time in PA, MD, NJ, NY, CT & Mass, I think Maine might be my favorite state. Or New Hampshire, only BC they loathe Mass.
If you can stand the people Boston can be a fun town.

Would really like to visit New Hampshire and Maine. Connecticut (farthest northeast I've been) fricking blows.

My parents are from CT and I lived in NH for a year after LSU.
I'm a huge fan of Maine. I love the Live Free or Die of NH, and my great uncle has a lake cabin in CT, so it's pretty tough for me to decide.
