Not sure if anybody has linked it or not yet, but there was a thread on this a couple weeks ago that had lots of responses.
Black and Mild wood tips for me. They're cheap, but I think they are fantastic.

Comacho rum barrel aged. I have a few I like to smoke regularly, but that’s the first to come to mind.

Agreed... I like the natural too... but there's something just sublime about a maduro in that series.

Damn Brehski!
WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too many LOL. I started really smoking a lot of cigars when I was in a position to do a LOT of back country fishing in the Carribean and cigar smoke was the only thing to keep the no-see-ums somewhat at bay. I don't smoke that many during the week, usually 2-4, but on weekends it is a problem LOL. During football Saturdays I may smoke 8 or so from noon until midnight. It is way, way way too many.

As a pipe smoker I will add my singular observation on cigar versus pipes.. Generally a good cigar will be as good as or better than a pipe from the smokers experience.. but the bystander(s) generally will prefer pipes aromas..
As a devout cigar smoker I will agree 100% that a pipe is infinitely more enjoyable for bystanders. I tried taking up pipe smoking but it was too much handling for me. I can smoke a cigar while working in my shop and when I put it down for 5 - 10 minutes it will still be lit. When I tried to take up pipe smoking I spent more time trying to get the thing to draw correctly and filled and lit than I did anything else other than sleep at night. Seems very relaxing but there is a HEAP of ritual required to smoke a pipe properly.
For anyone who has not experienced do not ever, under any circumstances, hire a pipe smoker who will be smoking their pipe while at work. This used to be common. A pipe smoker will spend 6 hours out of 8 hour work day filling, lighting, dumping, cleaning and refilling a pipe. They are all fantastic company and terrific conversationalists, in my experience, no one better to spend a day in a duck blind or on the deck of a boat with, but when it comes to getting any work done, forget about it...if they are smoking and working at the same time they are smoking at least 80% of the time, or at least getting the pipe ready to smoke.
