Agree on 69 Z-28. Would add RS package in dark blue.

I actually got to ride in a brand new one in '69 (I was 9) like the one I described.

‘68 Goat. At the moment. Pics in thread will likely move me in other directions.

Yep. Dan Heard. He used to own the Fisher Company (sells Fisher Valves, Rosemount Instrumentation) and he's worth a fortune. Mostly Ferrari's in his collection (Enzo, F40, F50) and a McLaren, old Jag. I went to the car show he had in his "barn" about 10-15 years ago. He must have some friends that also had their cars there including a Lambo and the Ferrari that won a GP event in then mid 60's (heard it appraised at $14.5M).
And here's my car..

Unusual that you picked a XKE Series 1 coupe instead of the usual convertible that everyone picks. Shows that you have good taste.
Not a big fan of the convertible.

I used to have the '91 version of this exact one. Not a day goes by where I don't miss that thing. Would love to get my hands on another. Never popped the top off, but it was still so much fun.
