I think 2003 non-Z06 models were the first cars with Magneride suspension. Some ignorant Europeans claim that "American cars can only go fast in a straight line" but Ferrari and Audi use this American designed world class suspension system.

I'm still waiting to see the Transition, now Terrafuga has that Helicopter/turbofan car prototype and I gues they gave up on the LSA Transition, as that car is a four seater and will be automated flying only.

I have two; a 1982 Jeep CJ7 that I drive everyday and a 1971 Plum Crazy Cuda convertible with a non original 440 six pack(it was originally a 383 car) that a rich old lady I dated when I was in the marines bought me; my wife calls me a whore for it. I couldn't ask for a cooler pair of cars.

I'm pretty happy with what I have. '77 Mercedes 300D that has about 670,000 miles on it. '66 Chevy C10 sitting around 130,000.
I wish I hadn't sold my only other car - an '89 LR Defender - but that fricker was always in the shop and sucking up gas.

Recently bought an Audi. Got it for the mileage since I drive so dang much, the more I drive it the more I like it.
I'm definitely now an Audi enthusiast and will buy another when it's time to upgrade.
eta: Mine is to fully restore the Studebaker M5 that my Grandpa bought new after WWII. It's been in a barn for as long as I can remember. Would just love to have it up and running to tool around on the country roads out here or pull floats for the parades that are put on in my hometown.
I'm definitely now an Audi enthusiast and will buy another when it's time to upgrade.

Until my net worth increases by several magnitudes, I will never pay what the market demands for a good condition SL. Buying nice cars is a poor waste of money, which is fine if you have enough - but it's far down on my list of priorities.
