I use an app called Zedge. It is free for both Android and Apple phones. It has hundreds of ringtones and notification sounds to choose from. So, everyone in my contacts has a custom ringtone. Spammers and people not in my contacts, well the default ringtone is "a-hole Calling."
As a qualifier, I am retired and have no corporate or social mores that force me to conform. When the default ring goes off it usually starts a conversation. If it was a pay for app I'd get rich selling it. It also has some great wallpapers for your phone or iPad.

My phone stays on silent or vibrate because I’m not trashy. It’s honestly never been on a ringtone so I have no idea what sound it makes.
