I just hope my retirement isn't delayed too long thanks to this wonderful administration.

A few years ago my career choice went from great to having a bunch of shite added to my role. I’m now the unofficial IT/ audio video support person and I’m not a fan of it.it’s a gray area but not helping every single person that walks through the door is frowned upon. Had a bad year last year with unrelated nonsense and just finally had enough of what my job has turned into. Started school again and will have my BA next year, MBA 2 years later. In the process of selling my house and downsizing to something we can pay cash for. Plan to be debt free and MBA done in three years. That will put me at 45 years old. Need to stay to 50 to get the health care benefits from the company I work for, but in three years I plan on having a different job with my company that doesn’t require me to connect retards to printers. I’m burned out. I want free of the shackles and I’ll no longer be owned by these people. That’s my plan.

I try to get month to month.

I might can plan for 6 months but stuff changes so much in life that there is no way i could plan 5 years out.

I have never been able to do that and it actually work the way i thought it would

Plan A is get promoted to managing director (or internal ELT), amass shares, collect on sale of company. Execute TBD 10 year plan.

Plan B is rage quit, sell shares, find a job that I can do in my sleep for less money and responsibilities, send the wife back to work, and just middle it the rest of the way home.

Get the last kid raised and out of the house and molded into a decent, productive human being. Fix up and sell our current house. Help our aging parents as much as possible.
