Not getting the sentimental stuff out of the attic before Hurricane Katrina
I had my grandpa and his brothers’ papers and things from WW2 - it’s all gone
one of my great uncle’s (the one in D-Day) military records were destroyed in the archives fire in 1973
My great grandmother’s birth certificate that was in French was in the same box

Brother, I’ve never hurt anyone. If I annoyed someone, that’s on them for the way they feel. I can’t control that nor regret that.
