sounds like the employees like their boss. I have yet to hear anything negative about Ard. I'd assume he must be well liked cause no viable challenger stepped up to run against Ard.
the only person who will take his place will be picked by Willie, as Ard was.

Nobody is crazy enough to run against that GOBN. Well, except Beau

"Behind on your taxes" is a few months.

5 years is a thief and I'm tired of supporting them.

If you can't tell the difference between someone waving at you and someone waving you to stop, you need to socialize more.

Life long resident of LP. Jason Ard was groomed by Willie. Jason did his time starting from the bottom and working his way up. I think overall he is a good dude, but he is definitely part of the GOBN. He protects his deputies and employees and i wouldn't be shocked if there wasn't some underhanded stuff going on. He kind of lost a little respect from me when he tried to pass that tax for "school resource officers" but then further into the wording basically said the tax would never expire and he could do whatever he wanted with the money. It was going to be like 5 million a year or something crazy and the SRo's were only going to cost like a million up front then like 400k thereafter. It got shot down and he was like "i can't believe people dont want to keep kids safe" which is bullcrap. It has nothing to do with kids and everything to do with raising taxes until who knows when to fund his LP toychest.

Sounds horrible

School board pays for SRO program in Lafayette and it cost more than 3,000,000 a year so I don’t think LP can do it for 400k

I think Ard has done a good job...but the SRO debacle was a huge misstep.

Beau of Watson is a good (paranoid) dude and I like throwing him some deuces in the morning, but he probably shouldn’t call attention to himself by running for public office. Lol

This happens in every campaign season. No one's fault but his. You'd have to be an idiot to not sue to disqualify a candidate who is legally not eligible to run.

They should create a deduct box if it doesn't exist already.

Sherman Mack would be a good place to start.
