I'm slightly to the right of Francisco Franco politically and I've driven Subarus exclusively for the last 12 years. There just isn't a finer vehicle out there.

It’s cultish. They fancy themselves as having earned some rustic, edgy Badge of courage.

It's a stereotype, not a fact. Like trucknuts on an F150. In this case it fit pretty perfect.

Which is the point of what I said. They are the fake biker guys basically, but add in to scared to actually ride. So they get a jeep and take the top off to prove how edgy they are.

Can confirm the Jeep wave is certainly a thing

I first rode in a Jeep 50+ years ago and always wanted one. I pulled the trigger
in '02 and still have it now. It's fun to drive.
All this BS some are preaching is just ignorant. Hey, you be you.

Some shots from the weekend. I’m pretty happy someone got some action shots for me. I’m usually leading so there’s no one in front of me to take photos.
Bailey’s Boulder:
The one obstacle, called Bailey’s Boulder, is still my nemesis. Out of an uncountable amount of tries, It has beat me every got damn time. When I was backing out after another failed attempt, a line appeared to me like a vision. I dreamt of it Friday night. I will beat it come Thanksgiving.

Curious, have a JK that is pretty well built up, but still needs some things finished and some more TLC.
If I were selling is there somewhere better than others to get it to a home where someone knows what they have?

Truthfully, Facebook. There’s a ton of Jeep buy/sell groups out there. Unfortunately, be prepared to read a bunch of negative comments about your sales price though.
I’ve sold a bunch of Jeeps and Jeep parts through facebook over the years. Figure out what price you want, add 10%, list it at that price or best offer, profit?

The wave amongst rednecks and frat stars has lost all meaning.

Yeah, I'm not looking to get top dollar or anything. Just know that selling it to someone to drive every few weekends will cause them nothing but hassle.
Trying to explain 3 link suspension to someone will end the sale before it starts.

4.5" Rock Krawler mid-arm (3 link)
Front and rear Dana 44, front trussed and gusseted.
Rear truss for 3-link.
Upgraded to moog balljoints. (e-lockers in, but not wired)
5.13 gears front/rear
Tierod upgraded to the solid with the f250 ends. Think it was Synergy.
Synergy trackbar.
Rear shockmount relocation brackets installed
Cosmetic stuff added is meh, nothing special.
No current pics. New steering box about 10k miles ago. Had the hood and front window bezel repainted this year due to fading. Had some engine work done just to repair some external oil leaks. Valve cover gaskets and oil pan. Tune up type thing. 2007 with 85k miles or so on it. Will be getting new rubber on it in the next few weeks. These tires are aged/dry rotted
