I’m recently bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and really like it. I have it with stick equipment and I have no intention of going hog wild like many Jeep people do.
My biggest motivators were that it’s fun in the summer to take doors and top off. Gives you some shite to “tinker” with. And in the winter, you can easily handle any snow/ice (if you encounter that, and I do).
And yes. I do not want to get on a motorcycle. No judgement to those that do; it’s just not for me.

I'm old so no stickers but jeeps are the easiest thing to tow behind a motorhome. That is why. No homo.

Have owned a jeep of some sort for nearly 25 years now. They are all pieces of shite that no one should subject themselves to. At no point should anyone own one.
I live mine and will probably always own one.

There’s a guy here that rides around in his rubicon with a canoe on top and he doesn’t really “canoe”

When your car or truck depreciates over 50% in 5 years, my jeep will keep 85% of it's value

It’s a cult.

They think owning a Jeep makes them tough.

I am tough so I own a Jeep.

Many people don’t know this until they get a jeep. But jeep owners have this thing where they wave to each other on the road. Most of them. My ex-girlfriend told me that. I told her get the hell out of here. I used her Mother’s jeep once to go to the store. Probably about 80% of other jeep owners waved at me. It was quite funny. Sure enough I used it a couple of other times and the waving continued. to. Jeeps are pretty fun to drive. But they’re just not practical for me.
Someone mentioned in this thread that it’s kind of like a cult. With all the waving, it did seem a little bit that way. Definitely club like

Originally practiced by Jeep owners driving the CJ, YJ, TJ, and JK, the Jeep Wave now extends to all members of the Jeep family. The Jeep Wave generally consists of a vigorous side-to-side motion of one or both hands, a raised hand waving, or two or four fingers extended upward from the steering wheel. While these are generally what describe the Jeep Wave, it may be modified to suit circumstances and locally accepted etiquette. Some examples of commonly accepted modifications are having your Jeep top off and a one-handed wave above the windshield or outside body tub. Or, if you find yourself in a southern or more rural location, the wave is usually just a raise of fingers from the steering wheel and a nod.

It's kind of the "hey look I'm radical and a bad arse" but to scared to buy a motorcycle.
The "angry eyes" headlight mod really looks good in front of Old Navy.
I have a lot of respect for the Wrangler and it's off-road ability. It is one of the last of a dying breed. But most of them never leave the pavement. The poseur culture accelerated when they introduced the "unlimited" four door.

You are confused with Suburus.
ETA: I had one as a rental in a snow storm in Colorado. AWD w/ GPS was the tits. I identify as a lesbian so I guess I would own one.

I must have got lucky with mine. 5 years and no problems at all, knock on wood. I’m plan on buying a truck and keeping it as a toy but I like driving it way more than a truck.

We talk every now and then , once I was wearing my Saints cap, he asked do I like them? I said yes and that’s when he told me sports are stupid also that “ Jeepen” and hunting is what real men do I haven’t talked to him since
