Name a place.
Anywhere in the world that has a large black population and a low rate of violence
Barbados?
According to google.

The murder rate in 2024 reached 18.2 per 100,000 people, the highest in Barbados' history.

Barbados' crime rate is considered moderate overall, but there have been recent increases in certain types of crime, particularly those involving firearms. While petty crime like pickpocketing and burglary is common, especially during tourist season, there's also been a rise in violent crime, including gang-related gun violence and sexual assault. Specifically, the murder rate per capita reached 18.2 per 100,000 people in 2024, the highest in its history, driven by an increase in firearm-related offenses

Sorry to piss you off. I’m just saying maybe try and evaluate yourself and be better. Which by the way is something I also have to do.
This might be the greatest liberal manipulation line I've ever read in my entire life.

If you don’t like it here , go back.

Your assumption that everyone on this fricking board is just a dumb arse southern white racist
The fact someone would immediately judge someone off of an accent is about as hypocritical as you can get.

None of this matters to the posters you're talking about. They take any attempt to steelman or play devil's advocate as an attack on their beliefs. That's why they respond immediately with ad hominem attacks. They just want to be angry.

You must have a reading comprehension problem.
I didn't write "I don't like it here." You invented that in your mind.
For the record, I very much enjoy it here.

The fact is systemic racism is still very present
What are some examples of systemic racism in today's society? Asians not getting accepted to Ivy Leagues at a fair rate?

I'm very accomplished
When someone says this I always wonder what the metric is.
If I said someone was accomplished they would have to be a VP or SVP (non banking) in a publicly traded company receiving yearly stock options that works in one of the big boy cities.

If you're white.
Poor, white, male is about the worst demographic to be today, from an opportunity standpoint.

No but this is 100% being a pussy.
You look him in the fricking eyes and walk like a man while he walks like a man.
What if your wife, spouse, companion, partner, etc., says "He looks creepy. Let's cross here." What do you do then? Should she man up for your pathetic little machismo?

it's a distraction to keep us out of a class war.

You are setting the bar very high for "accomplishment", and it seems to be centered around money and power.
What if you make your living as an artist and one of your works of art gets put on display in the Louvre? Would you not consider that person to be accomplished?

Look this is the problem.
Just fricking walk. Not everyone that looks scary is scary and not everyone that looks nice is fricking nice.
I would tell my wife its all good, hes just walking we are just walking.
The fact you walk across the street says so much to yourself and to the other person and to anyone that is watching.
Posted on 5/7/25 at 11:06 am to jizzle6609
I just don't care about this at all (crossing the street and what it says)
while I probably wouldn't do it and can't recall doing it, avoiding minimal risks at minimal costs is a non-issue in my book

Im not setting the bar.
When I say accomplished you arent a professor at a Tier 2 school that writes books. That may be accomplished in your world but in the real world when you say "accomplished" that is not what 95% of people are thinking. Take that to the bank.
Accomplished to me is leaving behind my kids a legacy that will allow them to teach and further enrich the overall family. Everyone must learn finance and our #1 family principal, 0 debt. Rack up ROTH iras for a second genny then pass it forward.

Those are noble goals. I have no problem with that. Everyone should strive to be debt free.
But they are focused purely on money.
There is more to life than how much you accumulate and pass on to the next generation.
There are noteworthy accomplishments that don't involve wealth and corporate rank.
For some reason you made living in a big city one of your "accomplishment" metrics.
You can get rich and pass on a lot of wealth to the next generation even if you live in the middle of Montanna.

I know most of yall dont but its a bitch move and why we are where we are.
Do you know how much courage it takes to attack someone? The odds are off the charts.
And if you are watching them as they are watching you, you can move long before anything happens if it looks like hes going to charge you with a fricking machete
