Only dumb arse's park at the pump. Too fricking lazy to park and walk

I see a lot of replies likening leaving your car at the pump to failing to return your shopping cart to the corral. There is an important distinction to be made: not returning your shopping cart almost always inconveniences someone (store employees, people attempting to park, et al). Leaving your vehicle at the pump while you go inside only inconveniences others if there is a scarcity of open pumps. If it's 10 p.m. and there are dozens of open pumps, you aren't really creating a problem by leaving your vehicle. If it's noon on a Sunday at the Foley Beach Express location and the line is wrapped around the parking lot, then you're a dick. Be an adult and use your judgment.

I didn't know you morons had to have instructions for protocol at a damn overhyped convenience store/truck stop.. Maybe there should be some online classes???

I did this at the new one in Mississippi.
It was pretty easy to slip into a spot and get in and out with my Brisket, coke, and Beaver Nuggets. No dirty looks.
Now if I was going to purchase some big souvenier items and walk around looking at all the decor items, I would move to a regular parking spot.

If the other 100+ pumps aren't 80%+ full, I'm leaving that bitch.

Is it customary to pump gas AND THEN leave your car at the pump while you go shop
It is customary for everyone to be an a-hole and block the pumps while they go take a Buc-ee shite and buy beef jerky and fudge.
On the other hand, trying to set a good example, and using the golden rule, I pump my gas and then move if I originally had trouble finding an available pump. If I’m pulling a trailer, I just about always move before I go inside.

Been to Buc-ee's many times, but don't think that I've ever pumped any gas there. That said, I would definitely move my vehicle after getting gas and park in a space as far away from any other vehicle as possible.

If you leave your car at the pump at the one near Gulf Shores, you might get your arse kicked.
I have never not seen the pumps packed and people waiting.

Buc-ee’s is a total shite show and not worth it. The only one I’ll stop at is in Athens, AL for the car wash. That said, don’t leave your car at the pump.

pump your gas and get the frick out the way... if you have to or want to go into the store, move the car away from the pumps and then go in
don't be an a-hole, basically

Menge Avenue and Loxley have been madness. Buc-ee’s knew exactly what they were doing building right there.
The Lafayette one is likely 2 years out but it’ll also be busy with vacation travel and locals

If you are there at 1:00 AM it really doesn’t matter. There are signs posted though which specifically tell you not to go inside if parked at pump. During the day you need to go find a parking spot.

I make sure to leave my car at the pump, go inside and then when we get back, take individual pictures of each family member by the car with Buc-ee’s logo in the back. Then I pack the ice chest I just bought with Buc-ee nuts and Red Bulls, find the local Countey Hot 40 station and fight my way out of the parking lot past all the losers trying to get in the lot

I always move it to one of the spots along the single row of spots that is behind all of the pumps. It takes just a minute to pull straight in from a pump into one of those spots.
