Paying off my 92k in student loans in 25 months before thinking about buying a house or having kids.

Significantly less stress than many folks I went to school with.

Had two job offers January of my (second) senior year at LSU. One in Tampa. One in houston. It really was 50/50, but with just an ever so slight lean to Houston, so that's where I ended up. I often think about where I'd be now if I had chosen Tampa.

In a "Florida Man" news story, most likely.

I was 17 when my father was caught embezzling 2.5 million from the company he worked for. Then he went on the run for 6 mos, to Vegas, turned himself in and told the agents he blew all the money gambling. They took everything from us and we were basically on the streets while my father did 6 yrs in the pen.

Leaving my ex after 9 years together. I shudder to think how my life would be if I had stayed with him. He killed himself a year ago. Mentally ill with a drug problem since he was a teen.

Finally getting the courage to leave everything I ever knew put me on my path to move out of LA. Best decision ever.

When I decided to take an internship at an architecture firm (3 years ago in April) as a last ditch effort to become one of the things that I dreamed of.

I'm still broke af as a result of it, but I crossed off a major life regret.

Checking myself into rehab and kicking the booze. Miss being able to have a drink sometimes but my life changed 100% for the better after that.

What do you hate about it? I just started at a plant in Westlake a couple weeks ago. Supposed to be my “career” job lol.
