They also don’t have drive thru or at least none I’ve been to. Which for fast food joints that don’t sell the best tasting food, you’ve got to have the drive thru for convenience.
I haven't seen many but both Subways in my town have drive-thru's.

The first McDonald's drive-thru is also in my town so I guess we just really like our drive-thru's.

They are up there on failing. I never even heard of this place until I moved to Baton Rouge to go to LSU. It’s just cheap trash food.

It’s $18 for a hamburger in Hilo, Hawaii

Well that’s a damn bargain for what you are getting compared to Burger King.

12 bucks for just a double cheeseburger. No fries or drink. You can get a bacon double cheeseburger that is larger and just as good with fries and a large drink at whataburger for $11.

The price you showed is $10.09 but $12 is close I guess since you said hamburger originally.

But your point is correct it is expensive. I picked up 2 burgers 1 fry and a drink for me and my son and it was $27. I remember thinking what the hell am I doing.

I like whopppers and the coupons in the mail used to be right on.

Burger King is either in and out cause no one there or it’s wait a while because no one is there.

I have no idea how Jack in the Box is still open in the South.

ETA: Upon further review, I guess they really aren't outside of Baton Rouge. No idea how they've stayed open so long here though.

Me…sorry…I get the grilled whitefish blackened with a shrimp skewer, corn on the cob, and broccoli…pretty good and darn clean for dietary purposes.

No. Jack's makes a very good burger and their seasoned fries are good too.

This is Five Guys prices in my area. Double hamburger is $6.99. You getting jabbed by someone but it ain’t Five Guys.

Where is your area? You sure it’s a real Five Guys? Here in GA a cheeseburger is definitely $11+ and it’s a la carte.

I think that’s the kids junior menu.

Five Guys

Three of us went a couple of weeks ago. Aware that their gimmick is overloading customers on fries, we ordered one large thinking that would be plenty. What we got was an order that looked like a typical large fry anywhere else on the planet. Did they give us the wrong order, or has Five Guys gotten away from the massive fry servings?

I go to CFA for sandwich/tenders. Popeyes when I want bone-in

I don't know how anyone can prefer the CFA sandwich and I will most definitely eat a CFA sandwich. The Popeyes bun is better, the pickles are better and the chicken piece is much larger and has some serious friend chicken crunch even after a 10-15 minute ride home. CFA has almost no crunch even if you eat it in the dining room.
