They refuse to amend the state constitution or legalize pot or shut down some colleges, so they aren't really doing shite.

I don't think it's random, I think it's a common sense action that would help with the 2017 budget. I get that it wouldn't help with the current problem, but it would show the politicians are willing to do the simple logical things rather than immediately reaching into my wallet for more.

Obviously, and hardcore southern Baptist would hate it. But that isn't the point. The point is, our economy needs something, anything, to generate a boost. And the legalization of marijuana is a very sound and effective means by which to do so. But they continuously refuse to even entertain the idea, which is puzzling and concerning.
