Pretty sure they paper got quotes from boat builders/marinas or something to estimate the worth of the boats.

Marine Surveyors pencil whip C&V surveys and put replacement cost and fair market values depending whatever the owner tells them to. It depends on if it’s for insurance, financing or resale. It’s a big racket.
You can 5 different surveyors and they will all come up with 5 different values.

All I know is my cousin lives in the pacific northwest and just ordered a brand new bay cruiser and paid $230K and I'm in awe of the pictures I've seen.
I'm not much of a boat guy, but I can still dream about them.

So, I don't understand what we are arguing about. That boat is very likely worth 15+ million dollars 
Whether it's 15 or 22 is irrelevant to me.
I just thought it was cool he had 2 big LSU flags flying off the back. There were a bunch of other comparable boats in the bay too.
