A pair of tickets to an Alabama-Tennessee game that were laying on the floor of a bar. They were smack dab on the 50 yard line. We asked around and left our number with the bar tender but no one claimed them. So me and my buddy walked in and sat in the seats since we didn't have tickets.
On the ground outside of a breastraunt in Dallas found a baggie with huge shard crystal meth and wrapped up inside of that was a ball of black tar heroin. Assume some dealer dropped it.

I am a librarian by profession, and the collection I maintain is filled with older works, a fair percentage from the 19th century and early 20th century. Back in late October I was shelving and I always look into the older books to see who may have owned them previous to us.
Found one, it was a 1946 edition of The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini who was a contemporary of Michelangelo. Anyway I open it, the book was numbered 60 of 1000 and signed by the illustrator in 1945, one Salvador Dali. It's living in my office.

Surprised he wasn’t feral already.
It took me 3 days to capture him.
And then he bit me...and it took me 3 more days after putting him in the back shed.
Then he loved me

While walking in the forest in Douaumont France (Battle of Verdun site) I stumbled upon a giant metal girder sticking up out of the ground. I was pretty off the beaten path in the area so I would imagine it had been lodged in there since the battle. The land had mostly been reclaimed by forest but it was a reminder of what had taken place a little over 100 years ago.

When I was a kid I found a baseball gear bag sitting in the middle of the highway. Inside it had a couple of bats, three or four gloves, and several baseballs. Looking back my best guess was it fell out of the back of a pickup truck.
A few years ago I found what I think was a vial of crack in a second hand sport coat.
Around Christmas I found a $25 Starbucks gift card while cycling through the neighborhood. I’ve also found credit/debit cards (I just pick them up and put them through the shredder at home), cash, golf balls, and license plates while out on the bike.
