What's the closest thing to Skip's batting cages circa 1991 today in BR?

I have family in town for the holidays and my 9 y/o nephew wants to try out some batting cages.

I remember enjoying the shite out of Skip Bertmans in industrialplex back in the day but I know some newer cages are hard to get a rhythm on. I hated the ones at celebration station.

Anything open in Central or Livingston parish?

I think Leo McClure has a place in Denham next to north park. So you can have both.

My hands still sting from a trip there 7 years ago.

Just head to campus and use LSU's field. I'm sure they won't mind.

We used to have our YMCA bball team practices as well as rainy day/week baseball batting practices there. Absolutely LOVED that place.
Would also get in a round of putt putt upstairs.

My old man would talk baseball cards with the staff for what seemed like glorious hours & hours.
