re: What’s the best hot sauce made in Louisiana?

Louisiana is definitely the best for typical usages. Crystals will work as a back up, but it leaves you disappointed....like when you're on the road, want a quick fast food burger, and the only option is McDonald's. Tobasco is a must have for certain things though...like gumbo.

Crystal
But the discontinued Tabasco Worcestershire sauce was the GOAT. Need it back ASAP.

Crystal with garlic. It’s damn good.

Tabasco made some type of Chinese hot sauce that was really good. They make something called Sweet and Spicy not sure if that is it under a different name.

Crystal is the best everyday hot sauce.

Y'all motha frickas need Jesus. Crystal's and Louisiana are both basically vinegar with some red food coloring, which can be okay if you just want something to drown a slice of pizza in. Hot sauce, by definition, is supposed to be hot. Tabasco is still mostly vinegar, but at least it has a little heat. Do none of you baws even go so far as to even do more think like Dave's Insanity sauces? Damn.

I’m a Louisiana man for everyday use.
I also go though a lot of Tabasco jalapeño.

I like Louisiana or Crystal.I actually don’t care for Tabasco.

Crystal is an incredible value. It's like 50-75% less than Tabasco.

Crystal Extra Hot
Also, not really what you asked since it's not Louisiana but I've really taken a liking to Cholula lately.

Crystal with garlic is pretty good. Put a little cayenne in it, let it age a bit, shaking it occasionally. After about a week it is good to go.

Tabasco is primarily vinegar. That's the burn you feel. The first ingredient in Louisiana and Crystal is red peppers.

When I make a big pot of white beans and neck bones I plan out the seasoning to be just right with a healthy dose of Bull sauce.

Deez Nutsauce is terrific!

That is a really good sauce. For when I want heat, nothing beats Primo's Swampadelic Sauce.

Crystal because it's not just hot, it has flavor

Shouldn’t hot sauce be hot? That’s cool if it’s not your thing, but this crystal “hot” sauce movement needs to die.
Nothing beats Tabasco on a fried egg. My grandfather taught me that.
