I don't know where you get your info, but I can't think of a reason for NK to lie about dear leader's golf score of all things.

I'm fairly confident that's legit.

81 at The Island. Next best round was 85 so it was a crazy day where everything was working.

My next best was an 81 at La Tour, on a day when a 4 handicap shot an 80 that was in the group.

It was windy, and nobody wanted anything to do with the place.

We partied.

Sorry to break it to you, but that score is probably not true. North Korea has been known to exaggerate or even completely fabricate stories like this in the past.

You're a terrible fricking alter.

well my best was the summer between HS and college

In my junior years my parents would drop me off at the CC when they went to work, would spend the day there until it got dark...burned out on it

I got to college and I dropped everything to... well college

Best round for 9 holes is a 37(+1)

4 pars
3 bogeys
2 birdies

Could've been way lower, lipped out 3 birdie putts

For me, 67 in competition. Lowest ever was 60 on a short easy course that was only about 6,000 yards long, flat, and wide open. Lol

No one will ever top Kim Jong il. quote: After picking up a golf club that day for the very first time in his life, the Dear Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea fired a 38-under-par round of 34 at Pyongyang. Naturally, the event was dutifully reported to the North Korean masses by the state news agency.

Not true. Pocket Aces once shot a 33 with 12 holes in one. My best is a 75.

I probably spent 90% of my time on that course or at the driving range from age 7 to about 17 or 18. Some days I'd sneak in an extra round or 2 if it wasn't crowed and I was walking. To be young and free again.

That range was cool.
Balls weren't any good, and hitting off that mat sucked, but it was a good place to swing and hit balls.
