This isn't true. I-10 also goes to one lane in San Antonio (Eastbound at least).

Westbound you exit off of I-10 to get onto I-10. The exit/entrance ramp is one lane.

Eastbound is the same way, if you want to stay on I-10 you get down to one lane.

All I got out of this thread was that I need to resist the urge of going outside and looking at an arrow for my fuel

learned a few weeks ago that certain states ban self service gas stations. There's someone on duty 24/7 to pump your gas for you.

Correction, some stations close and you can't get gas.

Small towns in oregon do this to effectively trap you in their town at night. If you sleep in the car you are ticketed, and the inflate their hotel rates to 150+ a night because of this.

BS!

the guys where I work seem incapable of understanding that the dishwasher only has spray arms on the bottom so if they want the dishes on top to get cleaned they cannot cover the entire bottom with bowls and cups.

I was always raised to clean them somewhat before putting them in. Dishwashers aren't that great if you leave crusty food on the dishes

Some also have spray arms underneath the top rack.

When the "War in the Gulf" was in full swing, our janitor thought they meant the gulf of Mexico.

during the storms in Houston a week or so ago.....my wife, who is an A&M grad, looked at me and asked "Was lightning around before electricity was invented?"

i just fricking stared at her in disbelief. i couldn't even form words to make fun of her i was so shocked. i literally just stared at her.

My gf taught me (b/c I never had this problem until divorce) that you can get $30 worth of gas when you only have $35 in your bank account by simply selecting Credit instead of Debit at the pump. I've been declined hitting debit at the pump before and had to go in and be like "gimme 30 on 4 please".
Think debit does an auto auth of certain amount. Maybe not all stations but it has happened to me several places.
