Arab is a culture, not a race. American white people in all their wisdom classify most arabs as Asian, but not racially Asian. Instead they are racially white so that you can claim their history.

Do what? Claim that arabs are white? Look at the census definition. Claim middle eastern history as white history? Look at any history book more than 80 years old. Look at portrayals of Jesus, cleopatra, Ancient Greece.

So an inaccurate past portrayal means white people are claiming the ME is full of Asians who are really white?

Wrong. See demographic profiles of UK and most of continental Europe (excluding France). Likewise, Mahgreb peoples of North Africa will be a distinct race from other Arabs.

Arabs historically were white. The Arab we know today is due to the dilution of their gene pool with their slaves.

i've never liked the excuse/response that european colonialism was the cause of x african problems. why didn't any of them have their battle of tours? europe was faced with islamic colonization and they did what it took to stop the incursion and preserve their culture. america had a similar situation with the revolutionary war.
if people in africa are being oppressed by someone, they need to rise up and overthrow. easier said than done but, if they all were determined, it seems to me they couldn't be stopped. the oppressors are only getting away with what they are allowed to do.
i suspect at least part of the answer is that the already existing slave trade was willing to transfer power to euros for a price and that perpetuated the system. ergo, africans in america/citizens being oppressed.
i am certainly fine being corrected or exposed to alternative opinions.

The thing you will never hear is that the same tribalism which existed then is still in place now. This includes slavery and human trafficking in much the same form as it was 500 years ago.
