I agree whataburger isn’t quite what it used to be but you baws acting like it’s Burger King are nuts. Patty melt is top tier. Wish they still had the A1 thick n hearty. HBCBs are super good too
oh I have long championed WB, but it's just nothing special to me anymore due the lack of consistency and quality control from location to location

You’re not going to find a better patty melt or honey butter chicken biscuit anywhere else. Aside from that I agree. It’s still above Dairy Queen, Burger King, etc. honestly if we are just talking a plain old normal cheeseburger then I think in n out has whataburger beat. And I’m a native texan. The problem is the fries are not good

Maybe it’s just me but I honestly can’t eat at Burger King. I’ll take a McDonald’s double or a hunger buster all day but something about Burger King just sucks to me.

Exactly and I can't eat at whataburger either. and why I said they're both pretty much the same.

My point is that I have low standards. I honestly can’t think of another fast food place I won’t eat at

Whataburger expanding significantly outside of Texas just doesn't feel right
That ship sailed a long time ago. I was eating Whataburger in Florida back in the 80's. In fact the first one to open in Florida was in 1959

For us (in Auburn), it was first Whataburger (2 of them), then Buc-ees.
I think Whataburger and Culver's are a step above the McDs, BKs, and Wendy's of the world.

the word "significantly" has a meaning.

QC has gone to hell ever since they sold out, inconsistent as hell
This is the truth. Driving through Texas, most towns have a Whataburger but one town's location may be a total dump, bad service, dirty, poor food quality. And the next town's is clean as a whistle, great customer service, food's impeccable, etc. It's hit & miss.
