I read this all the time. What's the big issue with owning a BMW? Is the reliability that bad? I just find it hard to believe that many people continue to drive them if they're shite.

I'm curious as well. The wife bought a 5 series about 2 years ago and we have not had any issues. It's been a great car so far (knock on wood!).

1. I'm not spending $100,000 on my cars, so any Lexus in my budget would still be a boring ride for me.

No way that thing in the OP costs $100K.

It looks like a car that costs half that.

All I have owned is the M variants.

Both the E46 and E92 had engine failures under warranty.

It's awesome looking. My neighbor in Nola had one and I admired it daily.

C7 Corvette. About $60K, but not quite as refine.

I bet with options, this Lexus LC wont be anywhere near $100K.

Lexus isnt going to put out a 470hp sports car for 100k.

I like how you upped the price by 20% to make a case for a Chevy. Corvettes have come a long way from the shite plastic interiors they had, but they aren't on the level this car will be.

Vettes are still the bargain performance car for what you get for the money, but luxurious they are not. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love Corvettes.

From 50K to 60K, sure its 20%, but its only $10K.. very negligible. Just like I'm sure a few options on this LC will bump it up $10-20K easy.

Here's 2 brand new 2017 C7 for $47K.
