It's not really a stretch to ask you what circumstances would make it ok. Your unwillingness to answer makes me think you don't even believe yourself.

There's not even really a way to answer that. My position is that I would not automatically end my relationship due to cheating without considering the circumstances. I don't know what I'd be OK with because I haven't had it happen to me. By just by being willing to consider the details, I don't see how I'm not supporting my "argument."

so the scenario in the OP

you find out your bride to be had sex with some random during her bachelorette party

what do you do?

The marriage would be getting rescheduled at the very least. I honestly can't say I'd definitely end it though. People make mistakes.

Or I don't have a ready made set of scenarios I've sat down and thought about. Why would I?

as someone who works in risk assessment, that mistake is too much of a risk to move forward on IMO

that is not a contract that I would sign nor would I advise any client to sign

There are worse things than getting some strange on your bachelor party. Just my opinion.

like I said in my post, it's not so much the act that is the deal breaker, but moreso the decisions and character flaws that led up to those decisions that should be the main red flag

Those existed before she cheated, why would you even be with that person?

shows a lack of respect for you and a complete disregard for your relationship IMO and I personally couldn't get the trust back.

To each their own, I suppose. Kind of a different topic than the OP though.

Probably because most people don't tell EVERYTHING to their SO or potential husband/wife.

Like my grandfather always said, "nothing shows a girl's true colors like a stranger's dick in her arse"

Only if you know 100% without a doubt. Don't throw away a friendship on hearsay.

Why would you being throwing away a friendship?

I'd be happy they told me rather than years later finding out then finding out they all knew and didn't say anything, that would be more likely a friendship ender.

but make sure you can prove that shite

No one on here ever really explains this comment. What do you mean by prove that shite? A picture? You saw it happen? The difference being one of these is intangible and you bring in the who does he trust more factor.

If it was something that I had heard from someone else...then that's probably not good enough. But if the only proof I had was that I saw it...well why in the hell didn't I interject in the situation in the first place... Even then, I'd rather lose a friend than keep something like that from them forever because it is at that point, where you don't tell, that you are no longer a true friend.
