I had a 5 gallon fuel pak on the rear tire carrier. The answer is still no.

I do own a jeep, but we weren't in it. I spent the last two weeks on lake Michigan and in Canada.
Fuel can get a little scarce.
Eta: hell I had a second 5 gallon can in the cab just for the inverter.
