Seems to me that
A) you have more leverage than your roommates
B) you have more options than your roommates
Nut up and use this to your advantage. I know he's your friend but he's not a very good one if you can't have an honest conversation with him about how stupid it would be to move out or how stupid it would be to live with a couple in the house.
You said it yourself, you think it's going to be a disaster, tell your roommate this, not the OT.
Also could you name some of these places you're talking about? I need to know where to look whenever my lease ends, and you are getting some sweet arse deals here unless is ghetto as frick

Yep. OP...you really want to be living there when this couple gets into arguments? Imagine sitting in your living room relaxing watching tv and they start fighting in the kitchen...making you either leave the apt or go hole yourself up in your room cause it's now too awkward to sit in the living room.

To clear things up a little. I live on Gloria st right now. But it's no shite hole. Two story. Bottom roommates pay 290. Upstairs is one gigantic room. They pay 335. The place we're probably going to move is right behind the goose. Heard its kind of a shite hole. The one I'd like to move in is that new place catty corner to the library.

It pays to have a roommate that works for AT&T. I'm on a family share plan. My bill is 28 dollars a month.
