Yes it does. I drove on it a month ago.
I wish I would've had time to spend more than a day in Flagstaff. Was a nice place with a lot of outdoor stuff to do. Best stop that I made (NO to Amarillo to Flagstaff to LA to El Paso back to NO in 5 days)

Black Hills, Rocky Mountain NP, Yellowstone, Little Big Horn, Glacier, Central Idaho, North Cascades, Olympic, Crater Lake, Trinity Alps, Yosemite, Utah (Has 5 NP's) and Mesa Verde.
Alternative would be the Alaska Highway stopping at Banff, Jasper, Stone Mountain Provincial Park, Liard Hot Springs, Go up to Dawson YT, Top of the World Highway, Denali, The Kenai Peninsula, Wrangell-St. Elias, Ferry from Haines, AK to Bellingham Washington.
