Why all the shithead responses? Think about the question. Really for all print to disappear would take a miracle.

Pretty much the same thing before there was data

People would go back to trading goods and services locally, and begin to rebuild that database. And massive cities would shrink virtually overnight. With rural communities setting the direction of a country.

For something like the bible, do you think they could put it together, exactly like it was before the information was lost?

The King James version maybe, but not the original Latin/Aramaic/whatever.

And I wouldn't be getting a paycheck most likely. But I wouldn't have to pay taxes on my 2018 income I've already been paid, so there's that.

Data creation is exploding. With all the selfies and useless files people refuse to delete on the cloud, 90% of the world's data was created in the last two years alone. At the current rate, the world's data storage capacity will be overtaken by next spring. It will be nothing short of a catastrophe. Data shortages, data rationing, data black markets. Someone's compression will save the world from data-geddon

Guess I won't be upgrading as planned, if I won't have anywhere to save my burp-singing videos.

There are definitely biblical scholars that have the Bible memorized. Maybe not 1 person, but there are specialist on each book that do. Collectively, that would be no problem. In your scenario, the Bible would be the least of our concern.

The immediate concern would be the global financial crisis, as all wealth disappears and no records exist for bank deposits, stocks, etc.
