I wanted to be...

A lumberjack!

Leaping from tree to tree! As they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia! With my best girl by my side!
The Larch!
The Pine!
The Giant Redwood tree!
The Sequoia!
The Little Whopping Rule Tree!
We'd sing! Sing! Sing!

Did you know that there is a group of guys in NOLA who have a working steam locomotive? You can join. Google the 745.

As for me, I would have loved to have been a glamour photographer for Playboy. Not at all my career path, but as it turned out I have photographed some young ladies who have been on the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan.

Probably a tree top flyer or boat runner smuggler into Miami. I think that rush would be so awesome.*

* only if I knew for certain that I would not be killed.

Did you try? Bad eyesight hasn’t been a factor since the 70’s. Even extreme cases can get a waiver...... if you aren’t too old, I would say give it a shot.

I wanted to travel the world and I wanted a great family. I’ve accomplished that. I never wanted a specific dream job ,workwise I just wanted to be happy in my work, be my own boss with lots of leisure time. Mission accomplished.

That’s really hard to do when you own your own business. What industry?

I was a Real Estate photographer. My shift was 8 days on 6 days off..four 12 hour days and four 8 hour days. I brought the job into the tech age with mapping out my routes with a computer mapping program. I cut the time in half and of course used that time to goof off. The job didn't pay shite, but enough to pay the bills and party. People hated it when I went on vacation.

It’s not hard if you can trust those that work for you and make it a priority. It helps if one of those you trust is your son or daughter. Headed to Italy for 16 days next Wednesday and my son will have the reins of the company.

That’s awesome, I’m sure you deserve it. Lake Como is on my bucket list.

I wanted to be a dentist. Mostly because I wanted to be a doctor in a field that didn’t involve people dying. Unfortunately, I really fricking hated bio, so I changed my major after a year.
