I was in the 8th grade at lee jr. High about to start high school,
My mother was going through her 5th divorce and I was an insecure but popular good kid. I was just living in the moment most of the time. I was about to start driving which would be my escape from my home life and would soon find pot.

Patterson huh? I went to h s three years there. Do they still roll out Chuck Toney who was crippled the neck down in a high school football game in 1971? Patterson was shown at the end of the movie "Easy Rider". A couple of football players made it all the way to the NFL, but you probably already know all that. Only valedictorians from Patterson made it all the way to LSU.

I was 16, drinking boone’s farm strawberry hill in simpson county ms, probably throwing parties at my house after football games or mudboggin’ somewhere. I was living it up as best a girl could who had just moved from BR to the country sticks of MS. I really never thought much further than what I was doing every weekend and shopping. I figured I would end up at LSU or USM but wasn’t trying real hard to make all A’s.
