NYU. or Rice. LSU is a cool school but it wasn't a good fit for me. I like the football, girls, food, and swag, but it aint for me. Too big.

If you count grad students NYU is substantially bigger than LSU. Not to mention it's location.

False. I graduated from LSU and got my job over Ivy League grads. My company hires grads from SEC schools over Ivy League grads all of the time. Where you went to undergrad doesn't mean as much as you would think, as long as you went to a brand name school. Once you get into the real world it's all about you as an individual, such as your experiences and what you can bring to the table.

The main benefit of going to an Ivy League school is the connections you'll make that will benefit you 15-20 years or more down the road.

That being said, I'd rather be a star student at a state school as opposed to a mediocre student at Harvard.

I guess their term isn't scholarship since it is Ivy League, but some kind of endowments/aid could be provided. I can't remember the letters now. I told all Yankee schools I wasn't interested

Nope. Same professional graduate degree, undergrad doesn't matter.

Plus, would you rather be a scholarship athlete at brown or LSU?

Well damn. Didn't know you were an athlete.

Thought you were just a big CFB fan.

No doubt. But Ivy League grads generally have higher starting salaries.

Considered Baylor and Maryland but ultimately chose a free ride to the University of Louisiana State University, and I'm very glad that I did.

I didn't apply to any school more difficult than UGA or GT so I guess UGA was always my dream. Wasn't super academically motivated just knew it was a good school with good sports/parties/women

Well Rice would've been a good fit. No greek scene, 3,00 people. Another cool school would be Queens college.
