There were no freakin' "emotional support animals" in the airplane cabin, I can tell you that.

years ago, you could change an airline ticket to your BFF's (or anyone's) name w/o penalty or consequence.

Put on a coat and tie, show your ticket, walk out on the tarmac and up the stairs to the plane.

I once was running late for a flight, called the airline and they held the plane for us. We got to the airport and were rushed out to the plane. We handed our bags to a baggage handler who loaded them while we boarded. We got an ovation when we walked in.

Also, once smoked hash in the bathroom with a stewardess coming back from Amsterdam. (One at a time-she busted us and said “my turn” and grabbed the pipe)

I miss those days!
