I still like Excursions, but have an Expedition so it's big enough.
I want a SCCA Miata to race. That'll be my next back yard project. Though I have years left on the cadillac.
If I were rich, I'd want a 911 porsche turbo.

Probably one of the best cars I have ever owned.
1990 Honda Civic hatchback.
Had a 1.5L engine w/ a 5-speed manual transmission (I remember when those used to be called "standards"). Definitely had some giddyup when you hit the gears right but would SIP gas. I would average 50 MPG on the interstate w/ it on long trips if I didn't use the air conditioner (40 if I did).
Zero problems with the car until AC crapped out after 7 years. Unfortunately, Al Gore and his band of assholes got rid of CFCs so the system would have to be completely replaced, which was more than half the value of the car.
It hurt to get rid of it. Saw it on the road for easily another 8 years.

Exactly my experience. I had one in college and loved it. Could really pack a lot of crap in there and 40 mpg.
My AC died after 4 years. Car cost around $5K new but they wanted over 3k to replace the AC. Drove it around for a while with no AC and sold it to a dude who tinted the windows and installed massive bass system in the hatch. Would occasionally see him driving around with the bass shaking for a few years after.
Was a really well made car with a shitty expensive AC.

Unimog . One of the baddest high-clearance Offroad vehicles that’s ever been. I’d haul it around on the back of a deuce and a half.
