I got job interviews I wasn't even remotely qualified for after my MBA. But that was also 1995 when not many had a MBA. I got a graduate assistant position that paid for mine.

My undergrad degree did not have anything to do with business or finance so an MBA really helped open doors. After graduating I got in with a F500 finance department, four years later I’m making $50k more than my pre-MBA job. Now, there’s a lot of hard work and long hours in there, but I don’t think I would’ve had the opportunity without the degree. It has definitely paid for itself many times over.

I had spent the extra year to get a masters and take the CPA, I wouldn't be having to think about all the shite I'm going to have to do to get it now as a 32 year old so I can be in a position to buy in at my firm.
Prayers sent.

I got my MHA from LSUS, but they offer a MBA with the exact same structure. All online and is around $11k total.

represents making 100k+ by the age of 35 and not having to set foot in a plant or an oil rig or any other manual labor job for that matter.
But obviously it's all about what masters degree one gets.

Mine was paid for by my employer - otherwise I wouldn't have gone to grad school. It's in a niche discipline, but I'm banking on some employers checking the box for a graduate degree and not paying particular attention to what it's in.

Means nothing in my field.
