its the exact same thing at the ones in BR. I like it, but there is no real difference

I was there last night. terrible queso app. Ok mahi tacos. cold beer. they do have great raft beers on tap.

I forgot all about Hot Rod's.

But as far as doing stuff. Not much. You can run through the cemetery, drive to the peach farm, or drink.

who here remembers B's Café in Ruston? It was behind Griffs in a "Rural" neighborhood.

Go eat at Raw. One of the best sushi places I have been to and its in fricking Ruston of all damn places.

Also Dowling's BBQ is some of the best I have had.

What's the restaurant in between the texaco and el jar on south Alabama? I think that's the street.

That was it. California. I couldn't remember the name of that street. But, yes Blue Light was great. They served South Louisiana food.

My memory is very hazy from the one year I was in college there. I know it's not Ponch I'm thinking of.

Ponchatoulas is a far cry from authentic S LA food. Go next door and get the bacon cheeseburger at Sundown Tavern. Ruston has an inordinate number of eating establishments when compared to the population - sadly, most of them are not very good.
