I forgot all about Hot Rod's.
But as far as doing stuff. Not much. You can run through the cemetery, drive to the peach farm, or drink.

who here remembers B's Café in Ruston? It was behind Griffs in a "Rural" neighborhood.

Oh damn.
That was the hottest debate in Ruston - Bea's, Sweet Pea's, or Blue Light. I was a Blue Light man myself. Dat fried pork chop

What's the restaurant in between the texaco and el jar on south Alabama? I think that's the street.
Posted on 12/8/15 at 3:40 pm to Large Farva
Couldn't tell ya. Haven't been there in years.

Bluelight is between an Exxon and the El Jarritos on California by Tech if that's the one you mean.

That was it. California. I couldn't remember the name of that street. But, yes Blue Light was great. They served South Louisiana food.

My memory is very hazy from the one year I was in college there. I know it's not Ponch I'm thinking of.

My granddaughter works at Little Pizzolies (sp). Italian. Downtown I believe.

Ponchatoulas is a far cry from authentic S LA food. Go next door and get the bacon cheeseburger at Sundown Tavern. Ruston has an inordinate number of eating establishments when compared to the population - sadly, most of them are not very good.
