Is 106 in PHX really that much worse than 92 in South La or Houston?

Nope. Very low humidity makes a big difference.


It feels hot as hell in direct sunlight but not as bad in the shade.

Phx.....like inside of an oven

a couple of years ago I spent a few days in Phoenix...very cool place. Nursie pointed me to some good places to eat and grab drinks, but unfortunately, I can't remember what they were.

honestly, if you have a car and want to see some absolutely unique and beautiful country, drive up to sedona.

if not, just hang around town...be sure to drive through a residential area or two while you are there, as it is very cool to see their typical landscaping...pea gravel yards planted with some really cool cactuses...

When I was there a couple months ago it was 95 and was more comfortable than 80 here
