What to do about barking dogs

So I live in a 2bd apartment. Small complex. I’m very good friends with my landlord. This neighbor right above me gives him 700 bucks and goes and gets two full size labs. Everytime I shut a door in my place they commence to barking. I’m taking a shite right now. They haven’t stopped barking in five minutes. I know. I’m trashy. Move. Etc. how can I stop these fricking mutts from barking short of putting a round in them?

Exactly. I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain to a woman who has grand babies that two 80lb dogs don’t belong in a place this small.

Try talking to the owner of the dogs and ask to keep them quiet. It’s not that hard.

Just kill the dogs.

I just went through this same situation. Absolute nightmare. My apartment management jerked me around for months. Finally I figured out I could call animal control as the dogs were in flagrant violation of the county ordinance regarding nuisance animals. They came right out, and they kept coming out and writing the people tickets. Finally they moved.
I win I guess, but I'm never getting those months of aggravation back.
The sequence I would follow is:
1. Make the owner aware of the situation.
2. Make the landlord aware of the situation.
3. If no one takes any action go scorched earth and call animal control out there every day it happens.
