If he’s married bring a gift for the wife. My go-to is a bottle of Veuve with a glass Christmas ornament tied with a bow. Or a high end Christmas candle (Nest makes a nice Holiday one).

In all seriousness, are there more than 10 people attending? The more people, the less a gift will be missed.
Also, if the man has it all, something simple after the event as a thank-you might be better. A $20 pen you think writes nice such as the Caran D'ache 849 that he might use for a long time and really enjoy. Or a laquile wine opener. With a hand written note.
