What the hell happened to Aaron Brown and Paula Zahn?

Is it just me or is it weird that the two main anchors for CNN's live coverage of the 9/11 attacks have not been seen in years?
They were both new to CNN at the time, having only been working there for a few weeks by the time of 9/11.

Paula Zahn hosts a popular show on the ID channel.
Something like 'On his Case with Paula Zahn'.

They were probably in on the attacks

Okay, fair point on Zahn.
But Brown was a weird case. After Bernard Shaw retired, CNN was looking for a new "face."
Brown got a lot of notice and recognition for his live reporting of the attacks that day. His broadcast may have been the most widely watched live broadcast in American history?
Then he left CNN in 2005 and basically his career petered out after that and he has no actual media position anywhere from what I can tell.

Brown left CNN in 2005. He now lives in New Mexico. He said "CNN was an amazing organization that day. And I was so proud to be a part of it."
When I asked him how journalism has changed since 9/11, he said he believes there's more pressure "to react to the instant, to the moment," with less time for big picture context.

Yes, I remember. I also remember Fox being fair and balanced before having conservative propaganda shoved down your throat.

Both channels are their respective political parties' amen corners.

So, housewives show?

IIRC Zahn went through an ugly divorce amid accusations her husband had mismanaged her finances. According to Wikipedia Brown teaches journalism at Arizona State.

I remember Aaron Brown. He was good at cutting through BS like a razor.
He'd probably be considered a right winger today. Doesn't seem like he's a fan of what journalism has become.

Sounds like a nice way of saying journalism today is a joke

Paula zahn replaced some chick on cbs this morning back in 1989. Only reason I know this is because my mom watched passe patout when we were getting ready for school in vp.
