What the hell happened here? Can't be from cologne catching fire, can it?

Sorry, I can only seem to post this from Facebook. Dude catches himself and everyone in his car on fire from striking a lighter. It says something about a friend spraying cologne in the car causing the flicked lighter to ignite it. Doesn't sound possible but what the hell else could have caused this to happen?

This is from like 2-3 years ago, too old to be Germans. I believe it was something about fuel fumes being in the car or something
ETA - if you look at each car seat, there is the same dripping of liquid on the head of each seat

Pretty sure the guys in the front seat were huffing something and the guy in the back...also high...decided he needed a cigarette. The guy on the right is holding a cloth to his face right before all hell breaks loose.
