golf is impossibly hard, even for professionals. You hit a 320 yard drive and then 3 putt. Golf is one the hardest sports I have ever played, and I was a 4 handicap at one time and it still frustrated me.

I think I recall Vijay practiced like 10 hours a day.

I agree completely, their reaction times are elite, but we had a thread on here recently where this was highly debated.

ETA - Not to mention the G forces they endure.

All you have to do is remember the lyrics to the Kenny Rogers classic “The Gambler”.

Millions upon millions of people play golf everyday. Yet there are only
A select few that can do it good enough to be playing on the tours every weekend. The overall gap is astronomical when you think about it.

Is bowling a sport?

To me, a lot of what is considered "sport" is in my opinion just a highly skilled game----such as:

Bowling
Horseshoes
Cornhole
Darts
Billiards of any sort

When a so-called sport can be done well by middle-aged, overweight people who would get gassed if they had to jog around the block, to me, it is not a sport, it's just a skilled game.

I'd probably agree with distance running. There's a genetic component to it but not nearly to the extent that other sports require. Its not easy by any means but easier than other major sports comparatively

Being able to continue to hit a baseball from a young person to say the MLB is very hard. But you can still be very good to great even if you can’t hit.
