Went to my first one a few weeks ago and had a blast. I am not a country music fan and could not even tell you who performed. The rodeo itself was interesting. Hot chicks and just generally fun.

I've been to more rodeos than you brother and have had passes from evey type of company out there. I was actually not let in one tent once b/c I didn't have cowboy boots on. I asked the dude at the door where he tied his horse up walked off with my pass and gave it to a black cowboy.

It is a lot of fun. We had suite tickets to Florida-Georgia line, I thought they sucked but I prefer old country and not the new abomination they call country music. Our suite was kind of below capacity, so our bartender was bringing us drinks when we were 1/4 full. I never got up except to piss or get more BBQ.

Make certain that you are in your seats for the Calf Scramble (young teens have to chase these calves around the arena, tie em up and drag them to the center) and Mutton Bustin (4-7 year old riding sheep). The calves took the business to the teens on Wednesday night. One kid was bleeding out of nose and mouth from being trampled repeated by his calf he had tied up. It is a good laugh!

I picked up my little sister from there once and there's a ton of white trash girls and a bunch of hot girls in sundresses and cowgirl boots.

Didn't notice the dudes aside from a few epic mullets.

I kept laughing at the long haired one's hand gestures. Looks like A country backstreet boy.

Then a band or someone has a concert. It's usually a pretty big name that performs.

Back about 35 years or so ago KC and the Sunshine Band did the "halftime" show when I was there. Pretty impressive performance.
