Officially Houston has restrictions, but it seems pretty wide open to me.

TX definitely isn't wide open with no restrictions. Here in Tarrant County, you must wear a mask to enter a business. I just don't care anymore about it. Until we have to go to a hot war with the commies, I'm just going to lay low with the family.

I’m in Dallas and everyone here is a mask nazi. I had the gay virus and just came back Monday. It was nothing and you are a loser with weak genes if you get rocked by this thing.

My parents live in the middle of nowhere and nobody wears masks. Can’t wait to go home this week and walk in and out of every store solely just to do it without a dumbass mask.

Texas places already had measures in place. Bars now all can throw together a food program if they need to.

It’s just where they will roll the occupancy percentages back to? Too low and it’s a waste of time to open the doors. Fewer places are gonna live off of scraps and just sell take out. They’ve already spent at least 6 months doing that.

Another shut down is near unenforceable. And TABC makes no $$$ if everybody closes down or they close down everyone.

First shite down was still on but winding down. I was at Baker Street PUB and a couple cops walked in. I thought “oh shite here we go. They are gonna fine the place and frick with us. “ theyd ordered 3 bags of takeout for everybody.

Not defending New Orleans/Louisiana but it is funny seeing the Texas people act like it’s so different over there

I live in rural Hood County - you must wear a mask into nationwide chains (Lowe's, WalMart, etc), but not many other places. Most restaurants and bars don't pay any attention to masks or social distancing.

outside of requiring masks? Not much in terms of actually banning things. All "phases" are not created equal:

quote:

In Stage 4:
Higher-risk individuals (those over the age of 65 and those who have chronic medical conditions) should stay home, except for essential trips such as buying groceries or seeking medical care.
Lower-risk individuals should avoid social gatherings, any gatherings greater than 10 people, and non-essential travel.
Recommend businesses and restaurants voluntarily reduce capacity to 25-50%.
Recommend schools limit attendance at sporting events to players, coaches, and parents.

Travis County (super liberal austin) "restrictions"

enjoy the dictators you guys elected over there though

So to you, just wearing a mask is a tyrannical restriction?

In other states, restrictions refer to elected officials going out of their way to destroy people on behalf of the people
