Be the author of a book that comes to be regarded as a great american novel, or being the artist of a painting that becomes one of the most famous and admired works out there.

I'd rather be the man who did his job every day and didn't waste time day dreaming about accomplishments I'll never do.

Painter

As far as legacy goes, more people recognize the greatest paintings of all time than even know the books.

I answer this assuming nailing it as an author would put you in the company of Miguel de Cervantes, Dante & Gregory Chaucer... and that nailing it as a painter would put you with the Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, van Gogh arena.

Does posting a thread that gets stickied count as a novel that becomes revered?
