Jeff LeDuff would get votes on both sides. Gravy and the other “community activists” wouldn’t like him, but he’s exactly the kind of guy Baton Rouge needs to save it from itself.

I know Bodi and he's not an idiot. I'm not sure he'd be a good mayor either.
Leduff is a decent guy. Worked with him for a few years after he retired from BRPD. He has the personality but I'm not sure he has any vision from an economic standpoint. He's more electable for sure.

He can do what Kip did. Kip, for all intents and purposes, had a big vision but the day to day implementation and execution was done by his CAO’s.
Which is why I’m disappointed in Gissel. He took this job and had a chance to actually run the city and from the outside it appears Broome has handcuffed him.

I'm a fan of the citizen statesman.
I know Leduff enough to have had maybe a dozen interactions with him in a professional setting and a few shooting the shite talks. I definitely don't know him well. He's a likeable guy.

He was a token white hire by Broome, and he only got the job because the black dude she hired first had lied about just about everything on his resume.

I know. My point still stands, though.

Interesting
I think he’d do a good job

I wouldn't be surprised if Broome has handcuffed Gissel. She doesn't seem to be the type to take kindly to others giving her advice on how to govern, even though she's practically incompetent.

We need to call in the dream team of pre-Pawnee Ben Wyatt and Chris Traeger

They give me no respect!
There will be a time when someone will be called to step up and sweep the broom to get BR clean.
The dragon rebellion looms large.
