I am all that and I've never had an opportunity to cheat.

Truth.

My wife had a creepy (married) stalker several years ago who finally gave up after she kept ignoring him.

I've been hit on several times, even in a professional environment. It can be a real mine field when you consider the crazies out there, the he said-she saids, and the potential legal consequences in the workplace.

In what jurisdiction is that? In some states, the spouse at fault (the cheating wife in the situation I was discussing) gets no spousal support after the divorce is final and can even wind up with less than half of the community property.

To think that women can just cheat on their husbands all they want and divorce them whenever they want to and have it made for the rest of their lives is badly mistaken. I've seen it a LOT of times. Wives usually suffer more from a divorce financially than husbands do, especially when they are at fault, which was the situation we were discussing.

Then you have the no fault states where the man gets royally screwed over. You have to give over half your assets and they have a matrix they use to determine how much you will be paying for half of the duration of marriage.

My ex cleaned out almost $100k in a savings account in less than 3 months and I still have to pay her maintenance for half the duration of our marriage. There were no kids involved otherwise I would have been screwed over even worse.

My attitude towards her these days is just apathetic. Don't give a shite if she is dead or alive.

My end of the deal keeps looking better all of the time. LOL

Same here. Even with the huge payments I making I'm still better off financially. She's stuck with a loser now who can't hold even a simple minimum wage job.

Just to wind her up I asked her recently what her long time plan is after my payments stop because she isn't even attempting to work.

Well, see . . . once you go outside of the house, you'll meet people and then you'll see that I'm right.

My wife cheated on me after 8 years of marriage. I gave her everything...new house in an expensive town, new car, new furniture. Sex tapered down to once a year. When she gave me the elated news that's she's pregnant I asked who's it was?

She initially got pissed, until I reminded her we haven't sex in a year. She aborted her bastard child, divorced and cleaned me out. Took me years to overcome the betrayal.

I'll never trust a woman again...they're lying, manipulative, sociopathic pieces of shite! Anything they do is to benefit themselves in the long run. They're always looking for the bigger, better, deal...regardless of what they have at the moment.

Took me years to recover financially. I'm great now and she's living in a fricking trailer in shithole Jemison Alabama.

Women are the fricking devil...and proof there is no God. Can He frick up so badly to create this narsassistic piece of shite to be man's companion? I don't think so.

They all can be had. Convince yourself otherwise and you up the odds she will. It's not a knock on anyone, but we all have our urges and weak moments.

This thead makes me sad for couples who don't understand the concept of loyalty.

We have been married almost 10 years. So far it has been a lot of fun. I expect that within the next 50 years there might be problems that we will fight about and solve together. I would never "step out" on my husband.

The men and women that do this behavior must have serious character deficits.
